Introducing the new TransUnion Consumer Credit Score

Give consumers a clearer, more complete view of their credit health with the new TransUnion Consumer Credit Score.

A more complete view of credit behaviour - Updated data and methodology, including trended credit behaviour, help provide a fuller view of how credit has been managed over time.

A new 0–999 scale - The score is now shown on a 0–999 scale, making it easier for consumers to interpret alongside the credit scores they commonly encounter in the UK market and closer alignment to lender’s lending policies.

More personalised guidance - Personalised insights and educational prompts help consumers understand the behaviours and factors that may be helping or affecting their score.

More constructive score bands - Updated score-band language replaces "Poor" and "Very Poor" with "Low" and "Very Low", supporting a clearer and less discouraging consumer experience while maintaining a familiar score-band structure.

The TransUnion Consumer Credit Score is more than a new score — it represents a step forward in helping make credit information clearer, more transparent and more meaningful for consumers. For businesses, it creates new opportunities to support greater customer credit understanding, strengthen engagement and deliver better outcomes.
