Statutory Credit Report

Under the Consumer Credit Act (1974) and the General Data Protection Regulation (2018) you have the right to access a copy of your credit report information  produced by any credit reference agencies (CRAs). As one of the UK’s main CRAs, we do this with what is known as a statutory credit report.

You can access the information CRAs hold about you for free either by applying online or by submitting a form by post:

Checking your credit report won’t affect your ability to get credit or your credit score, no matter how many times you check it.

Please bear in mind that a statutory credit report only displays the credit report information TransUnion holds on you. It does not include a credit score; this is a separate service. If you are interested in seeing your TransUnion credit score, you can find out how here .
