TransUnion announces new partnership with Leeds United

17 July 2019

TransUnion has announced its partnership with prestigious football club Leeds United, as its UK business becomes the official South Stand sponsor.

The two-year deal will see TransUnion, which has its UK headquarters in Leeds, take up a prime position on the South Stand at Elland Road for the Championship club’s centenary season and beyond. The TransUnion brand will feature on the front roof and mid-level fascia of the South Stand and the external wall overlooking Elland Road.

Satrajit “Satty” Saha, CEO of TransUnion in the UK said: “For TransUnion, this strategic partnership with Leeds United will help us not only raise greater awareness of the TransUnion brand here in the UK, but will support our activity to build stronger communities, working in partnership with the Leeds United Foundation charity.

“Our colleagues will reap the benefits too, with the opportunity to attend games and get involved in a host of activities. We’ve had a hugely positive response from our employees here in Leeds, as well as from the wider TransUnion family across the globe, so we’re really looking forward to an exciting season ahead.”

Stuart Dodsley, Leeds United’s head of commercial said: “We’re delighted to welcome TransUnion on board as our official South Stand partner; especially in this centenary year. As a leading credit reference agency in the UK and globally – with a presence in more than 30 countries – this partnership will be recognised not just locally and nationally but around the world, and we’re proud to be working with a business of this calibre.”

TransUnion will also enjoy a range of match day advertising and digital rights, including a presence on the club’s state of the art LED perimeter and crowd-facing advertising boards.
