GMAP expands into Europe with signing of first European reseller.

GMAP Consulting Ltd, a leading supplier of market intelligence and predictive modelling solutions in the automotive, retail, financial services sectors, has signed its first European reseller, Geodan. Amsterdam-based Geodan specialises in Geographic Information Solutions. It will resell GMAP's geographical market planning and information solution, MICROVISION, to its existing client base in the Netherlands. With GMAP, Geodan will also target new business opportunities with financial institutions and automotive companies.

Professor Martin Clarke, a consultant at GMAP Consulting Ltd says, "We are looking for reseller arrangements with companies throughout Europe to expand our UK customer base but with local support and service."

Geodan will be announcing the relationship at a customer event in Amsterdam today. Evert Meijer is CEO at Geodan. He said, "We are delighted to add MICROVISION to our portfolio of geo-information solutions. With MICROVISION, we will be able to offer a wider range of geographic market modeling solutions to our customers. It will help them to better understand their markets, customers, competitors and channel to market, maximising profits and reducing business risk.

MICROVISION is available in four modules: Marketeer, for planning and analysing retention and acquisition activity; Market Maker, for defining markets to better understand customer spend and sales activity; Optimiser, for spatial analysis such as store location, site volume and territory definition; and Modeller, for analysing network and store performance and understanding the impact of any changes that might be made.
